Series of graphic props belonging to Irene Adler, character in the Sherlock Holmes’ book “A Scandal in Bohemia”.

The story is set in 1888, London. Sherlock Holmes needs to retrieve some photos from Irene Adler, a former opera singer. When he thinks he has found the photos and goes to get them, Irene Adler has gone and left a photo of herself, along with a letter to Sherlock Holmes, explaining that she knew of his visit and has fled the country.

I have designed the cabinet photo, and letter that she left to Sherlock holmes, as well as items that could be found in her house: a hat box and a hat receipt, as well as an old programme of when she performed at La Scala in Milan. Apart from the programme, the other props are contemporary to the story
